I have an old 125 Honda scooter with 11000 miles on it and it has never needed anything except at 10000 miles and 2 years old the final drive went out because I didnt know it existed. They usually have only 5 or 6000 miles and are leaky crusty and run poorly. This of course assumes you follow some important principals.
